Military Families
Moore County Schools partners with Fort Bragg to support military-connected students as they transition in and out of the district. Our schools assist Military Family Life Counselors, Student-2-Student Programs, and a dedicated District Military Liaison. As designated Purple Star Schools, we are committed to easing transitions for military families, offering specialized professional development for staff, and upholding the Interstate Compact for Educational Opportunity for Military Children.
MCS Military Liaison Support
Moore County Schools offers dedicated district-level support for military-connected students through our Military Liaison. This role assists families transitioning in and out of the district, oversees student support programs, provides professional development for staff, and manages the Impact Aid Program. Additionally, the Military Liaison leads the Military Family Advisory Council and organizes the annual Military Family Forum.
